The Juneteenth Festival is the premier African American celebration for Syracuse and Central New York. It is a positive platform for encouraging acceptance of diversity and offers an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the sacrifices and challenges African Americans endured to achieve freedom. The Juneteenth Festival is free and open to the public.

Please follow the following rules and help make Juneteenth a peaceful event. 

RULE #1 – NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND
(A weapon is anything that causes physical & bodily harm)

RULE #2 – NO GANG SYMBOLS OF ANY KIND

RULE #3 – NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL

RULE #4 – PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY
(ALL pants must be up on the waist of males; ALL females must be dressed appropriately)

RULE #5 – NO FIGHTING – NO HORSEPLAY – NO RUNNING

RULE #6 – NO FOUL LANGUAGE

RULE #7 – RESPECT YOUR FELLOW MAN

Disregard of these rules will not be tolerated!  If you disregard these rules, you will be subject to a visit from the PEACE PATROL, but if you can follow these few simple rules,
WE ARE CERTAIN TO HAVE A FUN & SUCCESSFUL
